Vienna Grange No. 1288

Vienna Grange Post Number 1288 was founded on August 1, 1876, with 40 charter members. Rodney D. Leet was elected Master and H. L. Scoville was elected Secretary.

This obituary for Samuel Scoville mentions that he was a charter member of the Vienna Grange No. 1288.Western Reserve Chronicle (Warren, Ohio), May 18, 1881, page 4.

This Grange Post was a member of the National Grange of The Order of Patrons of Husbandry. Founded in Washington, DC, on December 4, 1867, this fraternal organization was created by Oliver H. Kelley and others to raise awareness of and improve the economic condition and social life of the farm and rural population in the United States.

It is unknown when the Vienna Grange No. 1288 dissolved.
