Viennastock is a yearly gathering of community, Fowler-Vienna / Mathews School Alumni and friends that is held on the first Saturday of August at Strossmayer's Croatian Center on Smith-Stewart Road. The date of the first party was August 1, 2009, organized by Gary, Robin, and Pam Clower, along with a small group of friends. It has evolved into an annual celebration of reuniting with friends near and far, young and old.

Proceeds from the event benefit the John G. Sofikitis (JGS) Memorial YSU Scholarship Fund. The festivities include a potluck with entertainment such as bands and karaoke. During the party, classmates assemble for group pictures with special recognition made to classes marking milestone celebrations, making it a great place to hold a reunion. The Mathews’ JGS scholarship recipient and family are also invited and recognized. For more information, pictures, and upcoming dates, visit the Viennastock Facebook page.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Viennastock was cancelled in 2020. The event resumed in 2021 with the Mathews High School Marching Band selling food and drinks.
