Vienna Township Zoning

The Vienna Township Zoning Regulations were first enacted on November 5, 1957.

The Vienna Township Zoning Inspector is responsible for enforcing zoning resolutions in the township.  The Zoning Inspector is appointed by the Vienna Township Trustees.

The Vienna Township Zoning Board of Appeals hears requests for zoning appeals and variances from the orders and decisions rendered by the Zoning Inspector. This group is made up of 5 members that serves a 5 year staggering term. The members of the Zoning Board of Appeals are appointed by the Vienna Township Trustees.

The Vienna Township Zoning Commission oversees planning, development, and implementation of Township zoning laws.  This group is made up of 5 members that serves a 5 year staggering term.  The members of the Zoning Commission are appointed by the Vienna Township Trustees.

Regular zoning meetings are held quarterly and special meetings are called as needed.
