Ashley Moore was a 22-year-old single mechanic in Youngstown when he enlisted for three years on August 20, 1862. He survived the war, mustering out on June 3, 1865, near Washington, DC. His widow, Margaret Hoover Moore, was living in Youngstown in 1910.
